When requesting a commission from “ArtOfYote,” you are agreeing to the ToS set forth by the Artist. These terms must be agreed upon and understood before I accept the commission. If you have any questions, please contact me at ArtOfYote@gmail.com. ToS are subject to change without notice.

  • All commission prices are in USD currency.

  • All commission sizes are in inches.

  • Traditional artwork is done on high quality, acid free paper/boards.

Thank you for your business! I look forward to working with you.

My hours of operation are split into morning and evening time periods. These periods make it possible for viewers across the world have an opportunity to watch my daily livestreams. I work Monday through Friday, and typically take weekends off.

  • Monday through Thursday

    • 10:00am to 3:00pm (Livestream)

    • Starting at 9:00pm, End time varies (Livestream)

  • Friday

    • 10:00am to 1:45pm (Admin Day)

    • Starting at 9:00pm, End time varies (Livestream)

I do check and handle emails/orders daily. However, because my daughter has a short school day on Fridays, I decided to take those days to do the heavier administrative work (such as packing and shipping artwork, purchasing material, website maintenance, uploading artwork, etc) to maximize my art production time throughout the week.

Hours of operation are subject to changed based on commission work availability as well as the needs for the family and their schedule changes. For example, when my daughter is off of school for summer, I will more than likely need to cut back on my morning livestreams in order to watch her; as the hubby works graves and sleeps during the day. I will post changes to the schedule as they happen.

Please be aware of the number of commission slots that are available when ordering. I set the number of slots so I do not overload myself with commissions. Even if all the slots are taken, still send your request in for review and if everything is in order, you will be put on the wait list. While on the wait list, no invoice will be generated nor will you have to make any kind of payment until I notify you that your turn is up. If you change your mind and no longer want to be on the waitlist, please let me know!

Email communication is essential between a Customer and an artist. Email is a must in order to receive an invoice to pay online as well as proofing your art. If you do not have email, you can get a free email address at the following web addresses:

You may request updates of your artwork once a week, as asking daily or every other day is illogical. I do tend to post work in progress (WIP) pictures on my ArtOfYote Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ArtOfYote). Otherwise, I will be more than happy to update you when requested to do so.

I am also available on the Telegram app! Search for ArtOfYote and add me to your contact list for faster responses!

I don’t do:

  • Pornographic, sexually explicit in nature, *nudity

  • Violence / Gore

  • Illegal activities

  • Political, racist and/or discriminatory depictions

I will do:

  • Wildlife

  • Pet Portraits

  • Anthropomorphic creatures

  • Fantasy (such as dragons, unicorns, etc.)

  • Some aquatic wildlife (discuss the subject matter with the artist first before submitting a commission request of this type)

  • Some technical stuff (buildings, vehicles, aircraft, etc. - discuss the subject matter with the artist first before submitting a commission request of this type)

*Nudity- Tasteful nudity is permitted as long as no "pink bits" are showing. Hints of nudity is ok. I reserve the right to decline a request of nudity if I do not feel comfortable with it or if it exposes too much. Please note that I do have a daughter, and when I art, she is present most times. For the sake of keeping it G to PG rated, I have to filter specific requests.

It is imperative to provide as much detail on the description of the content as possible. Vague descriptions leave it open for interpretation by me, the artist, as that is the only thing I have to go by. Due to how busy life gets, I cannot write everyone who commissions me making sure that what they send is what they want. It is always vital to make sure your descriptions are as detailed and thorough before sending to the Artist. This notice is also sent to all Customers who are on their last free proof before they are charged additional for further revisions of work. See section on “Proofs and Revisions” in the ArtOfYote Commission Terms of Service.

Once your commission request has been reviewed and accepted, you will be sent a PayPal invoice which can be paid with a debit or credit card, or with your personal PayPal account.

I no longer accept personal checks or money orders.

Orders that are under $100 must be paid in full in order for work to begin.

For orders that are $100 or more, I would be happy to work out a payment plan with you! Please contact me at ArtOfYote@gmail.com or find me on Telegram (ArtOfYote) to discuss! The invoice will then be updated to reflect the payment plan arrangement.

Livestreaming has become a significant part of my artwork as it allows for real-time demonstration and creates community outreach through laughter and creativity. It has allowed me to give back to the community that has supported me through thick and thin, and has helped me flourish as an artist.

You can watch my livestreams by going to www.Picarto.TV/ArtOfYote! Follow me there to be instantly notified when my stream is live!  Streams are rated PG-13 as I tend to use foul language, and tend to make horrible jokes and commentaries to TV shows I watch during the stream.

It is my goal to livestream my commissions from start to finish unless I experience technical difficulties with the equipment or broadcasting program. If you do not wish to have your artwork livestreamed, please be sure to select ‘No’ when filling out the order form.

NOTE: Commissions are worked on in the order they are received, and/or dependent on Customer proofs and adjustments. If I am waiting for someone to proof a sketch, I may work on other commissions in the mean time until the other Customer(s) is ready to move forward.

As a full time artist, I strive to get your artwork completed in a timely manner. I try to complete commissions within 2 months of ordering. I have provided myself a 2 month buffer due to an underlying medical condition. For more information, please refer to the ARTIST MEDICAL DISCLOSURE.

If it takes more than 2 months to complete, you will be contacted with options of continuing with the commission or possible refund.

If the artwork is time sensitive, please refer to the following section.

If the commission is a gift, livestreams or display of the artwork on public websites can be delayed upon your request to maintain the “surprise” factor for your intended recipient of the gift art.

Time sensitive commissions must be discussed 6 MONTHS PRIOR to the deadline it is needed. Failure to do so will result in delay of commission or decline of commission all together. Time sensitive pieces are also affected by how quickly you proof the sketch for completion, communication, and commission size. Please keep these factors in mind when ordering gift work that is time sensitive.

It is at my own freedom of choice to disclose that I have an underlying medical condition that can disrupt productivity. I feel it is only fair that you are made aware of this, especially since you are paying me to create your artwork.

I was diagnosed with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) and Severe Chronic Migraines. These two factors take a huge toll on productivity and completion times. I do my best to notify my Customers if there are any extended delays in completion. I try to be very open and transparent about my condition in order to maintain a good working relationships with my Customers. The C-PTSD flare ups could potentially keep me down anywhere between days to months. The migraines can cause me to lose as much as 3 days of productivity.

I appreciate your understanding.

If you decide to cancel the commission:

  • Within 24 hours of payment, a full refund will be given.

  • After 24 hours of payment, the purchase is considered final and no refunds will be given

IF the commission has NOT BEEN STARTED within 2 months, I will contact you with refund options.

I have the right to decline and cancel commissions should you become disrespectful, rude, threatening, belligerent, and so forth. In such instance, the commission will be cancelled and a refund will be issued. Refunds over $100 will be broken down into monthly payments of $50 until the commission has been fully refunded. You will then be black listed from any future business with me and any work done on the commission will be discarded.

You will have 3 opportunities to proof the artwork before coloring/finalizing begins to verify that what they see is what they get. This means that you will be able to request any adjustments or alterations of your commission(s) before coloring/finalizing begins. Any adjustments after 3 proofs will require $15.00 per additional proof. Please refer back to the “Description of the Commission” section to make sure you are as thorough as possible on your initial commission request. Once the piece is approved to be colored/finalized, it cannot be changed.

NOTE: I reserve the right to reject critique pertaining to artistic skill or style preference (i.e. anatomy, coloring style, etc.) if said critique reduces the artistic quality of the piece.

ARTIST STATEMENT ON PROOFS: Regardless if the artwork is colored, graphite shaded, or lined, I rarely if ever put fur markings, accessories, or minor details in the proofs. Markings, accessories, and/or minor details get added in the final stages of coloring/shading/line work transfer to new paper. My reasons are simple: There is no point in spending time adding all those details during the proofing stage as areas of adjustment may require minor to major changes. If it is found that a specific significant detail is missing upon completion that was noted in the description at the time it was commissioned, I will do my best to correct it without further charge of the Customer. This does not, however, allow you to request details AFTER THE FACT. Meaning if the detailed information was missing from the description and you remember it when it’s close to or at completion, it will not be added. Please refer to the “How to Order” section to make sure you are as thorough as possible on your initial commission request. Trust is a key element between both the Customer and Artist, in that the Customer must be able to trust the Artist to render their services as noted in the terms and conditions of service and evident in current works on display.

As the artist, I retain ALL the rights to the commissioned artwork, including the right to make prints and merchandise. This also gives me rights to display all commissioned work on any personal website, gallery, or journal.

The rights remain with the artist unless the rights are purchased; in which case prints and merchandise production will be discontinued.

As the customer, you CANNOT:

  • Make prints of the artwork for resale

  • Profit from the artwork beyond the resale of a physical original art piece

  • Alter the artwork itself

However, you CAN:

  • Resize or crop the artwork to create icons, wallpapers, or other graphics to be used in non-commercial digital format

  • Upload the artwork to their personal website or gallery, but credit is required.

  • Purchase prints for personal use.

  • Purchase the rights of your commission (see next section)

You have the option to buy the rights when you order the commission and will be able to select it on the order form. Pricing to the rights of the artwork is equal to the price of the original artwork and will be itemized on the PayPal invoice. (example: If your commission is $123.45, the price for purchasing the rights will also be $123.45.)

If you choose not to, your artwork could be used as prints and/or merchandise at my.

If you decide to purchase them at a later date, please contact me at ArtOfYote@gmail.com to discuss.

Serious buyers only!

I have yet to come across a situation where I complete a commission and I am unable to contact the Customer. I always make sure to contact the Customer before shipping it out to verify shipping information or collect the remaining payment. If in the event that does happen, the following steps will be taken.

Attempt email notification of completion once a week for one month in the following format:

  1. Beginning of Week One - 1st email notification that artwork is completed; collect any remaining balances owed on work, and to verify address for shipment.

  2. End of Week Two – 2nd email to remind Customer that artwork is completed, collect any remaining balances owed on work, and to verify address for shipment.

  3. End of Week Three – 3rd email reminder to Customer that artwork is completed, collect any remaining balances owed on work, verify address for shipment, and a warning of forfeit if not claimed and/or paid by end of month.

  4. End of Week Four – Email is sent advising the Customer that their artwork is forfeited.

If in 30 days the Customer still has not responded (or hasn’t paid the remaining balance) from the date of completion, the Customer forfeits the commissioned artwork and the artwork will be put up for sale to the general public and the Customer will be black listed from any future business with me.

  • If it sells, no refunds will be issued should the Customer attempt to claim the work after 30 days, to include deposits.

  • If it has not sold, the Customer may receive the artwork, however, will be black listed from any future business with me. The artwork must be paid in full within 30 days of completion in order for the Customer to still have a chance at claiming the artwork past 30 days.

  • If there are remaining payments due after 30 days, the Customer forfeits the artwork completely, and no refund will be issued. The Customer will be black listed from any future business with me.
